About the Exam
The questions on this exam have been provided by the faculty of the
course who have no knowledge of the actual questions on the ABIM exam.
According to the ABIM website
(
ABIM.org)
the distribution of the
questions is as follows: esophagus 10%, stomach 15%, liver 25%,
biliary tract 8%, pancreas 10%, colon 15% and general 7%.
This 60 question exam has been created using this distribution.
This exam should be taken in a 2 hour block of time.
There is a single answer for each question and all questions
should be answered as there is no penalty on the ABIM exam for
guessing
(
ABIM.org).
As time goes on and we develop experience we will publish the
number of questions answered correctly by the candidates taking
this exam so you can compare your results with others.
We would appreciate your critique of the exam after you have taken it.
